Two webcams (same model) conflicting
Feb 9th, 2009, 7:43pm

Hi everyone.

I have two Microsoft webcams, and am trying to display both in processing at one time. The problem is, is that they have the same name "Microsoft xxx", so an exception is thrown and the application crashes. I'm wondering if any one knows of a way around this issue, perhaps with a different library or something. I need to use the same model, as I need the same focal lengths for both cameras. My last option would be to program a network application, and use two computers instead, but I thought I would check here if I could get some help first.

Thanks very much.
