you seem to be really busy writing processing related books ... how about contributing some material (tutorials, examples, hacks) to the processing website?

Yes. I love doing that.

I have a wish to introduce Processing to Graphic design world because Processing is still not common in graphic design related area.

It is a good suggestion for me and Processing world.

I may contact with Ben Fry and Casey Reas to get their suggestion in terms how I could provide my tutorials.

For instance, through processing.org?

If anyone has suggestion, please feel free contact with me.

Thank you.

Here is the tutorial link by me.

I used the following tutorials when I was teaching Processing in Digital Art Program at Towson University as visiting assistant professor as 3 hour Processing workshop.

http://www.yeoahn.com/teaching/processing2008/

This tutorial was developed for graphic artists who have limited knowledge of programming language, so it would be useful for visual artists.

Please contact with me if you would have any question, yeoahn@gmail.com

Thank you.

Dear Processing Community,

My name is Yeohyun Ahn. I have been working as graphic designer and interactive designer with Processing. In graphic design world, there are a few people who can use Processing because they are still under the graphic user interface system with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, so it would be challenging for them to understand directing code interface system compared with GUI. Since I worked with Processing, I got some significant opportunities to present my Processing driven graphic arts to graphic design world since it is fresh. Some of them were invited some major publications including the New York Times Magazine, PRINT and books with honor, so now I am thinking of starting a new free workshop for graphic designers to share my projects and encourage them to learn how to use Processing in terms of graphic design.

Here is my brief outline:http://www.yeoahn.com/gdprocessing/

Before I start my free workshop, I would like to survey how many people would be interested in learning Processing in terms of Graphic design.

If any one would be interested in taking it, please put your comment under my message with your brief information as my reference to learn about you.

Your comments will be very important for me to start this free workshop project.

If you would have any questions, please feel free to contact with me: yeoahn@gmail.com, or http://www.yeoahn.com

Thank you for your help.

Best Wish,

Yeohyun Ahn.

My background is in graphic design and webdesign (CSS, no deep knowledge of javascript actionscript etc. other than reusing and tweaking other people's code).

I'm very interested in approaching graphic design programmatically and I am still very new to processing. I would be interested to see your examples.

Hi there - I am definately interested in using Processing in this way. I have studied graphic design for a number of years and have used Processing just a little to create patterns, an interactive.....plus general time wasting activities.

all sounding good to me.

I posted my first tutorial workshop for Graphic Design with Processing to http://www.yeoahn.com/gdprocessing or http://www.gdprocessing.org

I just bought a domain, http://www.gdprocessing.org, for my future audience's convenience. It will be automatically forwarded to one of my homepage domain directory.

Would you let me know if it is working for you, who have limited knowledge in Processing? or should it be more detailed and informative regarding my tutotial for Processing?

Your feedback will be very helpful for me to develop the second week tutorials.

Please enjoy my tutorial and let me know if you would have any question.
