I am just wondering how feasible it would be to create an applet that can simulate hair, and in particular its static cling, as can be done in maya's hair simulation.

there's some really neat stuff happening here: http://processing.org/discourse/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Contribution_Simlation;action=display;num=1078114794
but no code seems to be available, and it really is just the look of hair, and not necessarily the forces I'm after. If anyone knows of anything, I'd really appreciate the direction.
