Robust OSC example

I have not seen a simple robust OSCP5 listen example, one that could receive and print values received at a rapid rate.  Is Processing w/OscP5 not able to do that?  Able to handle something like mouse scrubbing transmitted from another app., control rates sent via OSC on the order of 5 KHz or faster, or logarithmic values sent via osc from a slider widget in another app.
