Java versions ?
Dec 24th, 2008, 9:29am

Hello (happy new year Smiley  ),

Which Java version do one needs to play processing's applets ?

Java 6 comes with Processing but I suppose Java 5 is ok ?

What of Java 4 ? Are Processing's applet going to run with it ? Maybe it's ok if some processing's instructions are not used ?

If not, is there a way to run processing's applets and applications with java 4 ?

thank you

I think Java 1.5 is OK but I am not sure, I haven't tried. Java might complain if jars are compiled with a version it doesn't like.
To be able to run on Java 1.4, you must get Processing 0135 (and its bugs and fewer functionalities...).
