Fast Multiple Camera Capture

I am trying to capture video from two webcams at the same time.  The built-in capture classes allows me to do this via WinVDig, but it is too slow.  GSVideo lets me capture video fast, but only supports single camera capture that I know of.  Are there any other fast alternatives?  GSVideo has an option to build a custom pipeline, which might be what I need, but I don't understand how it works.


I'm using Windows now, but can switch to Linux if a solution exists.
