Processing hack-week or hack-day

A solid week or just one day for working with others and hacking on the Processing source code fixing bugs, adding new features, etc. or working on one of the other implementations like Processing.js or Ruby-Processing or plugins/modes for other text editors like Emacs, VIM or TextMate, or working on improving the Processing libraries.

I think a lot of good work could get done with such a focused week or day.

Is there anyone else who would be interested in that?

good idea, maybe a week is better.

if is needed i'm a rails developer i could take a look to Ruby-Processing but i never have seen it.

PS: i guess that you are planning this week for january and not december :]

Okay, the week will 28 January to 4 February 2009. All day, every day, hacking on Processing, its libraries, integration with text editors, etc.

Rudolf,
I think this is a wonderful idea! Try not to let lack of board chatter discourage you; it's a very busy time for many of us. I'll be sure to keep up to date on your blog/progress. I'm personally pretty much full time on another processing publishing project at the moment, so I'll be more of a fan on the sidelines, but I know there are many of us in the Processing community who appreciate your initiative.

I tried the links and they work for me. Maybe my web host was hiccupping a bit :S sorry!
