I wrote some code last week to average video frames. My first run, I had it generate one still for every minute of video, and I fed it Terry Gilliam's Brazil...

Yeah, Salavon (and Étienne-Jules Marey) were definitely influences on my wanting to build the tool. (I also wanted to approach the Theater series by Hiroshi Sugimoto from a different direction...)
