Blob Tracking to Activate lighting in zones

Hey all,

I have been hitting my head against the wall and I think what I want to do is pretty simple. Possibly too many choices is hurting me but want to see you think. All I want to do is use blob tracking to activate certain nodes in a scene from a camera. These would write to 5 different lights off an arduino and turn them on in off.

The trigger would be proximity of blob to light or zone. I know there is a thousand ways to do it but what is the best. Any thoughts?
