Editing text in Processing
Nov 5th, 2008, 1:39pm

when i go to edit a statement, and i click in the middle of a line of text, sometimes i want to type without overwriting what is there already.

Could someone tell me a better way?

Currently i am copying the text i want to keep, then deleting it, typing some more, then i paste the old text on the end.

Thanks

Normally processing works in the way you want, that is inserting rather than overwriting. Try pressing the insert key on your keyboard if it's in overwrite mode.
