This is amazing. Are these visuals done ENTIRELY using just Procesing? If so, are they generated real time or does it generate each frame of the movie, which are then stitched into an avi?

yes all Processing, though not real time..would be possible though with some optimisation.

This is beautiful. The only thing I'd say is that the view bounces too much; zooms in and out too fast and much. But the visuals are stunningly beautiful man.

I think this sketch is doing something fundamental with my vision when the soft, blurry blobs split off from where they were growing on the sharp branches. It's as if a shadow became independant of what cast it.

Like the moment an optical illusion flips:

It's jarring and for a second I don't know where to look. I can almost hear my retinas *clang*. Great stuff!

Im so impressed by the how the branches look in this thing. Anyone know what the basic idea behind it is (ie, where do I start)?

Very nice! Shortly after I posted that, I got to work on recreating it myself. I haven't seen your source, but it looks like the general principles we both followed are simple (ie, a point dragging a tail). I'll try to upload a video or something soon.
