Sources for the book "Visualizing data"

Hi all,

I am looking for the sources of the book "Visualizing data" of Ben Fry and just can not find it.
Is it available?

Guus Bonnema, Leiden, The Netherlands.

That is the point: where are the sources shown in the book?

The book points to specific files like Table.pde that assist in coding, but not of the sources themselves.

The directory that these sources are in http://benfry.com/writing/ shows a page with afaics no pointers to the source.

All the source code necessary is mentioned in specific URLs in the book.

For a bundle of source code, use the "Author Site" link on the book page:
http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596514556/

Which leads you to:
http://benfry.com/writing/archives/3

Or you can follow the link that fjen posted, read the paragraph about the book, which will take you to /writing, which has a direct link to the examples.

Thank you very much: that did it. I read the writing page often, just never "saw" the links I needed (they are at the bottom *and* at the curious archives/3-page). Must be old age.

I would like to thank you for writing the book: it is exactly what I need and precisely when I need it. I want to visualize monitor data in a way that is more appealing to performance analists, especially if many servers are involved. We'll see.

In the meantime:
I find the book well written and clear (I am at chapter 5 now, so I am learning about American League and National League (although I still wonder why there is the difference: aren't both national?). I am very grateful that someone (i.e. you) undertook this endeavour: thank you very much!

Yeah, the writing page has 'em listed on the right-hand side so that people don't need to dig through the archives.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the book!

And yes, both leagues are indeed national, and we repeat the same foolishness for the AFC and NFC groupings in American Football (American and National Football Conference). In both baseball and football, the names were confusing because they were originally competing leagues that were later integrated into one, which is a bit like a merger between the Judean People's Front and the People's Front of Judea (*).
