This is the result of my first several hours with Processing.  At first I just wanted traditional fireworks, and after I figured out how to do that I wanted more.

That's cool!  Ran well on my mac book 2.1 GHz.  

Erasing old graphics would be nice, as would applying a stronger sense of gravity to the fireworks.

@asciimo thanks for the suggestion.  I actually had several variations, some less abstract than this one that were more realistic.  At higher resolution (2560 x 1900) the piece looks completly different as you can see these very organic patterns it generates.  Thanks for the feedback.
