CDNM 121 Introduction to Interaction Design
Certificate and Degree Credit
Communication & Design Program Area

Duration: 42 Hours

Students will learn core programming skills using Processing (an open source platform) to generate dynamic images in order to investigate the interplay between creative expression and technological capability. This course introduces students to data-based and code-based practice. Through lecture, discussion, and research students will examine behavioral media and how to design for it, as well as the differences between image based and experience based culture and practice.
