Update Processing automatically for OS X
Aug 17th, 2008, 11:54pm

I was just asked about this, and it seems my post from January was deleted.  Since a couple people had been asking me about using Processing on OS X, I thought I'd repost this, in case it's useful to someone else.

Update Processing is an application for Mac OS X to simplify the installation and updating of the Processing.org development environment. It’s wonderful that Processing is updated so frequently, however; each update creates a little bit of work for developers, especially those that rely on custom libraries and need to reinstall all of the libraries each time. By running Update Processing, each update is installed with your custom libraries (such as mysql support) automatically. It is designed to archive your old versions in case a new update breaks your application and you need to roll back to a previous version.

Download Update Processing for OS X.

I apologize for the double post.  I know how that can make a forum a less pleasant place to be.  I searched the best I could, but couldn't find it, and wanted to help out.  Again, sorry about that, and thanks for catching that fry - I appreciate it.
