using processing to control 7x7 servos grid. It's an installation for the new Nike's flywire shoe series.

Hi,

I am just researching online about controlling multiple servos and bump into your post.

Your project is really awesome, and I am working with something similar to what you did.  I hope you can give me some advice.

I am a newbie to processing and electronics, but I am doing a pretty complicated project.  Basically, I want to control about 16 pairs of pan/tile servos, and the rotations are triggered by webcam images. Therefore, I need to use processing to detect position of people and translate the data to control the servos.

After much research, I found a mini SSC (lynx SSC 32) that can control up to 32 servos, and seem like you are using this controller as well.

I have some question regarding the SSC 32 hope you can help me out.

1) Can Processing communicate with SSC 32?
2) Are they communicate by serial?
3) Is driver necessary to be installed to bridge them (I saw you are using mac, and I didn't find the driver for mac, how it works?)

It won't be great if you can post some demo code here

Thanks a lot

Eric
