Video Codec Question

Hallo everyone,

i got the video capture from my webcam working but i noticed that the image which will presented from the sketch looks very bad like compressed with a codec that is just for 4 colour animations or something like that.
When i capture the video with another program i normaly get better results.
Did anyone noticed something similar or has a solution?
I am grateful for every answer.

specs: WinXP SP3, processing 0135, Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000
