Thing i did

I dunno if there is any topic policy for being specific but well.

i did this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/Decinoge/showVect.png

Well, the point is that the picture displayed is in vect.

The thing is simple flood fill to detect color areas, and then make a vectorial form around that area, with the same color and respecting the pixel grid.

I just do pixel art, but i used to some vectorial graphics when i was younger. I enjoy the pixel sharp look. But wanted to try it on vector aswell. Just created the tool o make it easyer.

How do you use it?
Just drag a small (please dont try much bigger than 200x200, and drag only works with win and osx) to the app screen, and wait for the freezing to stop. You can also press on the big prety green button, and just look for your image.

Thing is, i would love to be able to work with multy thread so that the freeze doesn't happen. also, advices on how i could take this thing from now on would be apreciated.

Anyway, here you have the downloads.
*Win - http://redwater.sonance.net/Pixel2Vect/Pixel2Vect_Win32.zip
*osX - http://redwater.sonance.net/Pixel2Vect/Pixel2Vect_MacOS.zip
*Linux - http://redwater.sonance.net/Pixel2Vect/Pixel2Vect_Linux.zip

and 3 examples:

Exp 2: http://redwater.sonance.net/Pixel2Vect/testMiu.pdf
Exp 3: http://redwater.sonance.net/Pixel2Vect/testMiu2.pdf

Stay cool, enjoy.
