Hi i am having an imac and i want to choose which camera
to use as input for Jmyron.I want to use Sony dcra-handycam:model dcr-HC4RE.it is connected via firewire.
I don't want to use the built in camera.I use the simple camera example of jmyron and i am having the following error:

Exception in thread "Thread-2" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /Applications/Processing 0135/libraries/JMyron/library/libJMyron.jnilib:

at java.lang.Runtime.loadLibrary0(Runtime.java:822)
at java.lang.System.loadLibrary(System.java:993)
at JMyron.JMyron.<clinit>(JMyron.java:14)

i use mac0S 10.4.11,and processing version 0135.

Could you tell me how i choose a camera with Jmyron or something else to solve this problem.

Thanks, Alexandros

The jnilib supplied with jMyron is PowerPC only and does not work on Intel macs. Either

1) grab the slightly out-of-date jnilib from http://www.jibberia.com/projects/

2) checkout jMyron from SVN and build it all yourself(*)

3) try my latest build from svn (http://brsma.de/file_download/24/JMyron26MacIntel.zip – just unzip and put into processing's library folder). Don't blame me, if it kills you or anything on your computer, though Wink

*) jMyron does not compile out of the box on Leopard but that's easily solved: you simply need to edit ezcam/Makefile (add '-nd' to the wget parameters for the wget installed from MacPorts) and source/myron.cpp (add '#include <cstring>').
