is there any possibility to switch the power of a usb port on and off? couldnt find anything, not for processing, nor any other way. im looking for a solution on a mac.

If you mean that you want to disconnect the +5V/-5V lines on your computer's USB ports: I highly doubt that. It would a) require extra electronic parts and b) AFAIK violate the USB specs.

But what do you want to achieve with that, actually Do you want to switch off some device that is connected to your computer via USB Then, for example, make the switching logic and circuits a part of that device.
