OK;
got it working after manually setting filetype=processing from within the file.

will investigate further...
thanks koogs

off the top of your head; can you tell me how to manually set the filetype for all processing docs?

is it with an au command in .vimrc?

thanks

OK- Smiley

looks like the implementation might be slightly different on os x as i now have the filetype detected automatically-

maybe someone can vouch for whether or not this is standard/hackish.

i put the (1) line in the ftdetect vim file in my .vimrc file instead so that it would auto-load and this seems to much more easily force vim to load that file (via the au command) to display the processing.vim syntax.

man.

i wish that was better documented.
blech!

thanks for the help, again.
