I know this will look a bit stupid but I've downloaded Minim and ESS and have been up all night trying to get them working.
I have put them in the respective directories that the tutorial says to put them in, but I get error messages when I run example programs saying I need to alter boot path, class path,and jikes cant find the necessary files.I'm using mac osx 10.4.8 so I thought getting audio in the mic to my sketches would be pretty easy. I wonder if anyone can help a beginner like me get any one of the audio libraries going.Ive tried moving the folders around to places they can be found by the program with no joy.Being a beginner is fun but also very frustrating.

Its OK its working now! I don't understand it but I opened processing from the dock instead of inside the processing folder and it did the trick. It's brilliant! I need to get out of the house now it took all night and all morning to figure that out.
