Minim doesn't work at all (Read 769 times)

Minim doesn't work at all

I cannot get any of the sample programs with Minim to produce any sound. There are no error messages, and the oscilloscope works fine, but there is no sound being produced.

I am using a PowerBook running Mac OS X 10.5.2. This is the output of java -version:

"java version "1.5.0_13"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_13-b05-237)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_13-119, mixed mode, sharing)
"

Can anyone help?

I don't if it is what you are experiencing, but I have had real difficulties setting the right inputs/outputs for my soundcard (MOTU) on my Macbook Pro running a previous Mac OS (the one before Leopard) - which apprently has bugs, so I have to upgrade if I want it to work.

I am having this same problem but with leopard. It worked fine on my old computer 2 days ago, but I just got a new MacBook Pro on Mac OS X 10.5.3 and everything has worked fine from the transfer except minim will not produce any sound. The FFT and BeatDetection work fine, I just can't hear anything, anyone have any ideas?
