Remember when you were a kid and you sat too close to the TV? You could see the little RGB elements dancing and glowing away.

This sketch was inspired by that. Uses Perlin noise to simulate interference. The source is linked off the page at the bottom.

thats pretty cool man... I m wondering, where did you fiond the perlin noise algorithm.. I m looking for something like a repository of graphics algorithms.. or even a book about it... any ideas?

Its built in to Processing!  

But if you'd like to know your stuff- this link is what I used to code my own implementations before Processing came around:  http://local.wasp.uwa.edu.au/~pbourke/texture_colour/perlin/

(That page also has Ken's original C code)


Also:  I like the TV effect - its perfect!  As a kid, I totally used to sit and examine the TV from a close distance, wondering how those little red, green and blue rectangles could form all the images...
