Hi,

I'm entering the YCN Competition with something I've made in processing.

It works in the following way;

an emitter class fires line classes at a set interval, each line class produces about 200 dots which are aligned along it, the dots move away from their origin as time goes on.

The lines are also effected by invisible gravity wells, which suck the  lines into them, if the line spends too long under the influence of the gravity well, it explodes!

So, basically a particle system that emits particle systems that are effected by points of gravity.

I used processing to make the backdrop and then put everything else in using after effects.
