pachube beta testers / networked sensor projects

dear all

for information, i've posted a message in the arduino forum about a new system we'll be releasing soon to offer a web-based "patch-bay" for sharing real time networked/remote sensor data and there are a few more places available for beta-testers.

for full info, including URLs please see:
http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/num_1203684239.html

briefly, Pachube  (www.pachube.com & www.haque.co.uk/pachube.php) will be a web service for connecting together, tagging and sharing real time sensor data from objects, devices and environments around the world; a kind of "youtube" for interactive systems where any project can "plug in" to any other project to create geographically scattered interactive environments.

in particular, when released there will be a Processing library called Pachuino which, along with Firmata and Processing enables your Arduino to have "remote" sensors and automatically share its local sensor values.

thanks

usman

p.s. for those who used environmentXML and the processing library, it has now been superceded by EEML (http://www.eeml.org/) which has a new library to make it easy to access Pachube.
