Processing and ChucK: How?
Feb 21st, 2008, 8:15am

How can I get Processing and ChucK to talk to each other?

Consider me an ultranoob. I don't even know where to begin and couldn't find much on the topic. Just point me in the direction to look.

Many thanks.

you can use the OSC network protocol to communicate with chuck. use the oscP5 library for processing (see the examples how to send and receive OSC messages). chuck OSC examples can be found in the examples/osc folder of the chuck distribution. if you run both applications on the same computer, use the (internal) IP address 127.0.0.1 as network address.
best,
