Using a webcam with processing on the web
Jan 11th, 2008, 3:43pm

Hello, i'm a student from the fine arts of valence (france), and I'm working on an applet using a webcam, made with processing.
The applet works very well in processing, but I want to send it on a internet navigator, and it doesn't work. I think the problem is the navigator doesn't authorize my webcam the access.
If someone have an idea to made it work...

System :
OS : Mac OSX 10.4.11 / Mac OSX 10.5
Webcam : Logitech / Apple iMac webcam
Navigator : Opera

hi, according to point 5 under "Problems with Video" / "All platforms" on this page http://processing.org/reference/libraries/video/ , you need a signed applet to use capture with online applets. Search the board and the site to find info about signing applets.
