my students are using controlP5 and they are asking wether or not there's a way to add umlauts and other sonderzeichen to controlP5?

umlaute are not implemented indeed. unfortunately i dont know when i will have time to implement them. maybe no umlaute for now?

the students are visualizing data from all kinds a different sources from all over the world, so the problem goes beyond umlauts.

i think it would be a great addition to controlP5 to have a style layer that one can influence, including being able to change the font ...

I second that. I'm working on a zoomable interface that needs the fonts inside ControlP5 to be vector.

If I ever produce a hack for ControlP5 I'll post it here.
