Tactu5 in progress

Hello,

here you could find a preview of a new library dedicated to aid making music in real time with Processing

http://www.abstract-codex.net/tactu5/

It's still a work in progress: some design aspects are not definitive, in particular some constractors are not yet consistent
and documentation is still a draft specially for more "complex" features.
Maybe the approach could seem bizarre (no sound, no midi...) ... well,  it is definitely Smiley

Feedback, comments, critics are really welcome

I look forward to the examples...   Smiley

I read the description and I'm still curious how it relates to the other sound libraries for Processing, as well as the staples of code + sound (csound, supercollider, chuck, etc.)

Hi Casey

examples will arrive very soon as well as the documentation about methods for modelling the "score" on the fly.
I am writing some pieces of code that are integreted with CSound ( my favourite music language) through oscP5.
I have tested it on Win and Linux and it works fine.
Almost a year ago I had some problem using this setup with Mac but I should check if something has been changed in the meanwhile.
Working out Tactu5 I was thinking to installation and application, but actually writing a synth system with java sound that could be triggered sounds interesting.

Hi,

I have updated the library, now it is robust enough for testing and experiments.
Sometimes ago I have started a new project with it and first results are encouraging

Finally I should have some free time to write some simple examples.
