teum11 YaBB Newbies Offline Posts: 1	how to make pictures faded in/out Dec 10th, 2007, 1:25pm   Hello, I'm pretty new to processing, just studying by myself...it's still taking long time for me to learn but really enjoying it! Now I'm making some interactive stuff with still pictures, plus moving graphic patterns on it. I'm very wondering how i can make a few pictures faded in and out. Any help, please?

antiplastik YaBB Moderator Offline Posts: 699 France	Re: how to make pictures faded in/out Reply #1 - Dec 10th, 2007, 1:56pm   hi, you may use the tint() method : http://processing.org/reference/tint_.html and more precisely the tint(color, alpha) syntax (use it before drawing your image):  - tint(255, 0); will make it transparent,  - tint(255, 255); will make it opaque, to fade in/out, just play around with the alpha value
