Carnivore Issues

Hey there,
 
So I have a sketch that I am working on that includes the Carnivore library, but the problem is that when I run it on my Apple Intel box, I loose my network connection after a moment or two.  On my PPC box, it runs fine, but on the Intel one I have to restart my Airport connection (and if the sketch is running, I get a second of connectivity and then *poof*, it pulls a Kaiser Soeze, and is gone).  Same code, same version of Processing (135) and both are running Leopard.  And I don't get any error codes from Carnivore or the system.  

Any thoughts?
