multiple screen display
Nov 30th, 2007, 1:43pm

hello processors,

i want to set up a video wall with very old macs. since video-cards with multiple outputs are very expensive, i thought of a software solution with processing.

the idea is to split a picture in say 8x6 segments, and send this over ethernet to the computers=screens.

i didnt find anything on the board, so im asking.

-is it at all possible?
-has there any work been done?
-who has an idea to accomplish this?

best regards

til
