layering and blending vector images
Nov 7th, 2007, 11:42pm

I would like to create a static image composed of many vector files (svg created in Illustrator CS3) layered onto each other. I assume Candy is the only way to do this?

Also, can these images be layered onto one another using color blend modes, such as overlay?

I tried to blend a candy object but there's no color blend function using the Candy library. So using raster images rather than vector images would add a lot of flexibility here, but scalability of the output file is key for final printing.

Thanks,
Greg
