JTablet Linux Beta Test

I was contacted by someone who has been working on a linux port of JTablet and is looking for beta testers.  Thought I would post it here.

Hello,

I've recently been working on rewriting the Linux port of JTablet. I don't yet have code that I feel is production ready, but its certainly a lot closer than what was provided in the SDK. I was hoping that you could get the word out to people who may have expressed an interest in beta-testing a Linux version.

The code currently compiles and runs on my laptop, though I'm sure there are bugs to be uncovered when others try to use it. For example, the makefile I have works on my system but probably not for other distros. Also, my tablet (a Graphire4) is rather limited so I haven't been able to test more advanced functions like tilt (I'm pretty sure Wacom tablets don't report alt/az like JTablet wants) and tangent pressure. Hopefully with more people trying to get it to run, I can fix the biggest bugs before you include it into JTablet.

If you know of anybody who would be interested in beta testing a Linux port, please send them to the following URL (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=532663). I created a thread in the Linux section of a computer forum I frequent hoping to find some people, and would love it if others also gave things a shot.

Thanks,
Jason G.
