Java3D API vs Processing

What's the different between Processing API and Java 3D API from Sun?

I just feel that processing is for simple 2D and 3D animation while Java 3D is good for high performance 3D game application.

I feel that Java 3D is more powerful in terms of 3D gaming while Processing have API functions to do quick simple 2D 3D animation.

Can anyone input more of difference between the two.

java3d as the name says is java with 3d capability. processing purpose in this life wasnt just for 3d. its different, but i found processing to be a very powerful tool even for 3d. you can just code opengl in it if you want. just pick your favourite and go with it. i say, its your choice, really.
