Problem obtaining sources from SVN
Aug 21st, 2007, 6:07pm

Hi.

I'd like to checkout the code from the public repository to help me in my developments, but the server seems to be down.

As told in the 'build' section of the development site, I've been trying to checkout from svn://processing.org/trunk/processing using Eclipse, with no success. All I get is a "Can't connect to host" from the svn command line. Is the server down or something? I've been trying this for over a month now, so I'm starting to think that the 'build' document may be outdated.

Any clues?

svn and eclipse working fine here. perhaps you don't have the repository set up properly?

Yep. My mistake. Seems I have very restrictive network admins here at job. Almost all outgoing ports (including svn) are closed.

Oh well, seems like I'm gonna have to mess with tunnels. Anyway I wanted to learn about this sooner or later so...

Thanks anyway.
