forum registration difficulties

I and a friend attempted to register to the forum using email addresses ending in ".us" and we never got our initial password emailed to us. Registering with a ".com" email address went through fine. I don't believe we have any spam filtering.

I just wanted to let you guys know on the off chance other people might be having similar difficulty joining the community. We are excited to be here.
