quicktime for java, manual install

hi,
i'm trying to use the video library, but when i use it, it doesn't give error messages but after a second it begins to crook and sound disappears. don't know if its because i havent installed qt for java installed correct or dont even have installed it. but i cant find any option in the install menu or other direction to install it. can anybody help me out and tell me how to install it directly.

which system are you on? mac should have it already ... for pc there's a lot of info at the bottom of this page:
