Website snapshots
Jun 16th, 2007, 1:16am

Hey there,
Is there a library or some other way I could get screenshots of websites using processing?

I want to make a collage out of websites that are the results of google searches, for example:

search for humble pie, and then go to the first 10 links and create an image of that website, then crop it and place in a collage.

thoughts, anyone?

thanks,
Guy.

I use Picnik for all my web shotting... it's a nice all in browser image grab/edit tool... and you can export to many services (flickr, facebook, picassa, etc) or just download/save.  It supports grabbing the entire page too... not just the content visible in the window size.

The firefox extension gives you a nice right-click behavior "Send full/visible page to Picnik", ultra handy!
