Making applet window invisible, but keeping...
Jun 1st, 2007, 5:16pm

hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to make the applet window that appears for, say, a simple line draw program, dissappear/invisible, while still retaining the other elements of the program (ie. the line you draw, color tablet to choose from).  Ideally, this would happen upon first clicking on the window.

Basically, I'm trying to find a way to trace something on the desktop "behind" processing, without leaving processing (and of course, without taking a screen shot).  Is there a way to dynamically alter the window shape and size, so that it's defined by the pixels produced in a line draw program?

Also - I know that transparent windows exist in Vista, although I'm not too familiar with it.  Is there a way to keep active windows transparent as well?

Any leads would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
