Fidg't visualization

Just a quick introduction.

Fidg't (http://www.fidgt.com/) is a personal aggregator for social networking that runs over the internet and on your cell phone. The service is designed by Santa Monica based Gearon / Protohaus.

Over the period of the last five months I've been working on and designing a visualizer to help promote the service. The result is the Fidg't Visualizer which allows you to enter in your Flickr or Last.fm accounts so you can see visualize your friends and the tags they most commonly use.

The software is written entirely in Processing with some extensive use of OpenGL and Christian's well-written proXML. I'm still supporting the project so I'll be making some cool additions to this software in the near future. It is hoped that we make this an open source project as well so all can have full access at it.

Download it here:

It's appeared on TechCrunch just today I believe.

You can also check out a video (not sure what's up with the music lol) of it working here at

Feel free to try it and leave any comments for me!
