Suggestion: Use Java 1.6 for Linux
Apr 28th, 2007, 6:17pm

The GUI toolkit in Java 1.6 integrates far better with Linux than the one in Java 1.4. I changed the path in the ./processing startup script to my version of Java (1.6) and have not noticed any issues with it. I suggest either switching to Java 1.6 or providing it as an alternative (or possibly a "Linux (Without Java)" option on the download page).

Ah, nevermind. I found a bug Tongue
Any of the keyboard shortcuts will print the letter pressed. For example, hitting Ctrl-X will print the 'x' character.

However, I still suggest the "Linux (Without Java)" version.
