GETTING PIMAGE INTO A SHAPE eg. rectangle..help!!!

hi im new to processsing....and i do need some help with my project...


i want to add an image which is been extracted from a data folder...and than displayed to a shape eg. RECTANGLE....which means whatever the resolution of the image is  it resizes to the shape's resolution. could i just get any simple example which i could work on with...would be really a gr8 help..thanx....

you mean like a texture? try the example code from the reference:

hey thanks alot for the feeedback...really appreciate it...ive actually got it to work already...just that now im stuck with another problem.. where i wish to upload a range number of pictures from the data folder... do i need to type PImage for more than once...meaning for each pics i have to type..is there anyway i could set a range...eg.. picture1,jpg - picture10.jpg...?...

really wish to know if this is possible and if so how it actually works.,.thanx....
