New Processing PDE Icon

For lack of a non-generic icon, I designed a HIG-happy alternative for PDE document icon, which you are free to distribute in subsequent releases of Processing, if you like it.

Snag it at http://matttthompson.com/pde.icns.zip

If you want to make it the default for your current release, and you happen to be using a mac, right-click on the processing icon, go to "view package contents", and navigate to "content/resources". You should see pde.icns, which you can replace with the new one.

Let me know what you think.

My apologies to anyone who found a broken link when they tried, but it seems that DreamHost decided to go completely offline last night.

nice. that's something that's been on my list since i made the Processing-icon almost 3 years ago ..

are you planning to make versions for win and linux and for lower resolutions and less colors as well?

Any clues to where I can find a snazzy icon for PDE files?

I would also be grateful for any suggestions for PDE-enabling Quick View hacks for OS X 10.5.

Upgrading to WordPress broke those old links, but they should be fixed now. Sorry for the hassle.

@Anders Creating a simple Quick Look thing sounds like a cool idea. I'll check that out at some point.
