Help with loading PApplet

Hi everyone. I currently have a PApplet running fine in  an Eclipse Java program.However i have designed a GUI in java with a button in which i wish to allow a user to push it, and to make a call to the applet class to display it.I've used action listeners but it doesnt seem to be working.can anyone help? thanks.

do you want to replace the GUI with the applet or is it being displayed next or inside your gui?

PApplet extends java.applet.Applet, which extends java.awt.Panel .. so you can use it just like any other Panel / Component. but be aware that there might be threading issues with embeded PApplets.

i think you should read some awt / swing related tutorials first .. maybe do some google-ing.
