Wearable Display Project: TeamAwear

Maybe some of you will be interested in my project for your exhibition. The wearable sports display system I built for my honours research here: www.mitchellpage.com/teamawear uses processing heavily to control the physical computing components.

Although the wearable electronics part uses Arduino, Bluetooth, and other display technologies, I used processing to remotely steer all of the jerseys – which is the crucial component of the system.

I use processing to set up wireless serial connections with each jersey, then using a simple interface built in processing and myGUI, I can remotely update and control the display on the jerseys.

Basically, processing was the best way for me to control the wearable displays!
