Capture problems in 123
Jan 3rd, 2007, 4:30am

I recently upgraded to version 123 (from version 115) and found that all scripts using video captures ceased to work, and threw this error (with no other stack trace):

Code:

Exception in thread "Thread-2" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
at quicktime.std.sg.SequenceGrabber.initialize(SequenceGrabber.java:108)

This also happens when running the example script UsingCapture. Both the example and my own scripts run fine on the copy of Processing 115 on the same computer (an intel mac, running os 10.4 ). Has anyone else had a similar issue?

there's a problem with Capture.list() that might be doing this: http://dev.processing.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=472
which will be fixed in 0124. could that be your issue?

That's it. I removed all references to Capture.list and the script runs without error.
