SuperCollider not a related initiative? (Read 1110 times)
SuperCollider not a related initiative?
Dec 15th, 2006, 10:46pm

Hello,
I noted that under "Related Initiatives" at processing.org, are listed software initiatives such as ChucK and PD. I would like to suggest to add SuperCollider. http://sourceforge.net/projects/supercollider
As known this is an open source initiative for object oriented real time sound synthesis with some similarities to ChucK and it has a wide user base, so I see no reason why it should be absent from the list.
BTW I also teach Processing at work and I like it very much. Smiley

Our "related initiatives" list is not definitive, how could it be? We're very happy to take suggestions. I'll add SuperCollider at the next release.

Sure. I just felt the SC was definitely missing from your list. Thanks for taking up the suggestion!
