Here is a suggestion - use dappit www.dappit.com to create XML feeds for anything on the web, and then parse them with Pro XML.  Dappit is just about the coolest thing ever.

Some ideas:
Do a visualization of Digg, del.icio.us, Flickr, Google, Yahoo finance, or... any blog... or basically anything.

Find more about Dappit at dappit.com

Here is an example of an XML feed I'm using about S&P 500 stocks, off of Yahoo Finance:

dappit is great.

one thing that bugged me which I wasn't able to achieve was configuring dappit to fetch data from pages where you have to login. for me it just worked with web pages who were public.
